How to verify an I-9 in DNet



DNet > Employees > Onboarding > Process Monitor 


As a client-level user of DNet, you will receive notifications throughout an employee’s onboarding process:

  • When a new onboarding invitation is sent to the employee
  • As reminders are sent to the employee to complete their onboarding
  • When the employee completes their portion of the onboarding process
  • After Centricity finalizes the employee’s onboarding

Once an employee finalizes their portion of onboarding, you will receive an email from “DNet Admin” (darwinet@darwinet.com), titled “Finalize Confirmation for Employee Name, Employee ID Number”, confirming the employee has completed the employee portion of the onboarding process. After you receive that message, you can verify the I-9 by following the steps, below:


  1. Log into DNet, toggle to the company-level of the system, and navigate to the Onboarding Process Monitor (EmployeesOnboardingProcess Monitor).

  1. Expand the employee’s profile and select the  icon next to the I-9

  1. Indicate your information and select whether the supporting documentation is from List A or List B & C. For reference, a list of acceptable documents is included on the last page of this document.





  1. Enter the applicable document information and click on “Submit”.

  1. The system will then prompt you to review and sign the document; click on “Sign Document” at the top of the form.

  1. To electronically sign, enter your DNet User ID and Password, and then click “Verify & Sign”


That’s the last step!
